Augustino F. LaScola was born January 26th, 1946 in Providence Rhode Island. He was raised in Pawtucket, graduating from Tolman High School and then enlisted in the Marine Corps. After honorably serving his country in Vietnam, he went on to work for the Postal Service, retiring in 2006. One of his proudest career achievements was helping to spearhead a “letter to the troops program” during the Gulf War.
He is survived by his wife Lois, the love of his life. He also leaves behind his son Augustino and wife Charissa along with grandchildren Ethan, Noah and Lucas. During his life he enjoyed being around family, friends, playing cards, and enjoyed having a good cigar.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visiting hours on Friday, September 12,2025 from 3:00pm -6:00pm in the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence ,RI.
Military Honors will be performed at 5:30pm at the funeral home.
