She was the beloved wife of the late Henry T. Young and the daughter of the late Guisseppe and Rosaria (Silvestri) Perroni.
Tina lived a life marked by grace, devotion, and quiet strength. From the age of 2 until 16, she and her sister Mary were raised in Sesto Campano, Italy, an experience that remained an important part of her identity throughout her life. She later returned to Pawtucket Rhode Island where she met her husband Harry and they made their home in Seekonk, MA, in 1957. In every place she lived, she carried with her the values of family, hard work, and hospitality that became the foundation of the life she built.
Together with her husband, Tina founded Young’s Caterers in 1958, establishing a family business that reflected her remarkable work ethic, warmth, and talent for caring for others. Through her dedication and commitment, she helped create not only a successful business but also a legacy of service and community that touched many lives. Her efforts, along with those of her husband and family, became a source of pride and a lasting example of what can be accomplished through perseverance and love.
Tina was a parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, where her faith was an important part of her life. She was the mother of the late Michael Young. Tina was also the sister of Mary Langlois of Gardnerville, Nevada, and the late Anthony Perroni, Carmello Perroni, and Josephine Wolowicz.
Tina was a cherished grandmother to Ryan Young, Cory Young, Amie Griffin, Melissa Marcil, Michael Young, Amanda Roberson, Andrea Halajko, Abbie Halajko, Jake Benevides, Samantha Benevides, Jordan Young, Brianna Young, and Madison Young. She was a proud great-grandmother to Paige, Peyton, Aiden, Blake, Aubrey, Adelynn, Mattis, Avery, Lainey, Amari, Jewel, and Jamison. Her family was the center of her world, and she treasured every moment spent with them, especially when gathered around a table filled with the food, laughter, and love she so freely gave.
She enjoyed cooking and found great happiness in spending time with her family and grandchildren. Her kitchen and her home were places of warmth, where love was expressed through meals shared and memories made. Tina’s generosity and selfless nature touched every generation of her family, and her legacy will continue to live on in the traditions she helped create and the values she passed down.
