Donald F. Brown

Donald F. Brown, 76, of East Providence, RI passed away Friday, September 8, 2023, unexpectedly at home.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Donald and Mildred (Francis) Brown, and a former resident of Beverly, MA and Rumford, RI. He was a computer systems manager, a stay-at-home dad and also a volunteer at the East Providence Senior Center. He was a veteran of the Air Force and served in the Vietnam War.

He leaves a daughter, Mallory Brown now living in Australia. He was the brother of Anne Flint and her late husband Kenneth of Saugus, MA, Steven Brown and his wife Geraldine of Chepachet, RI, Dennis Brown and his wife Gail of Warwick, RI and David Brown and his wife Edna of Rumford, RI.

His funeral services will be private. Donations can be mailed to the VA Medical Center, Attn: Voluntary Services, 830 Chalkstone Ave., Providence, RI 02908. Checks should be made out to the Department of Veterans Affairs and in the memo section write that it is in the memory of Donald Brown.
