Born on May 14, 1930, in East Providence, Doris was a beacon of kindness and thoughtfulness, living a faith-filled life that touched many.
The daughter of the late William and Mary (Furtado) Sears, Doris grew up in a loving family alongside her siblings, the late William and Henry Sears, Dorothy Andrade, Hilda Santos, and Mary Malo. Doris's family was the cornerstone of her life, and she continued to cultivate those familial bonds with her many nieces and nephews who survive her. She was a figure of stability and love, offering guidance and support to her extended family throughout her life.
Doris dedicated over 30 years of her career to the Monet Jewelry Company, where she excelled as an Executive Secretary. Her professionalism, efficiency, and warm demeanor made her a beloved colleague and a mentor to many within the company. Her work was not just a job but a place where she formed lasting friendships and made a significant impact through her service.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, March 10,2025 at 8:30am from the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Francis Xavier Church, 81 North Carpenter Street, East Providence.
Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, 661 Prospect Street, Pawtucket, RI.
