Eduardo Pacheco Obituary

East Providence - Eduardo George Pacheco,86, a cherished husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at RI Hospital in Providence. Born on March 6, 1939, in Sao Miguel, Azores, Eduardo was a man whose life was a tapestry of love, commitment, and quiet strength.

Eduardo, affectionately known by all as simply Eduardo, was the beloved husband of Adelina C. (Marques) Pacheco. Their enduring love story spanned over 54 years, a testament to their unwavering devotion to each other. He was the son of the late Manuel and Maria (DaLuz) Pacheco and a loving father to Richard Pacheco and his wife Ana of Swansea, MA, as well as Nelson Pacheco and his fiancée Marilyn of East Providence. He was the proud grandfather of John Seddon, Michael Seddon and his wife Andrea, and David Seddon, and great grandfather of Roman and Chloe, who will carry his legacy forward.

Eduardo's family was the cornerstone of his life. He was a supportive brother to Victor Morales of Sao Miguel ,Jose Pacheco of Barrington, Sarah Arruda of Dartmouth, Tereza Sousa of East Providence, Natalia King of Riverside, Angela Silva of Lincoln, and he was predeceased by his brothers Manuel Pacheco, Luis Pacheco, and Robert Pacheco. His extended family of nieces and nephews also played a significant role in his life, each of them touched by his kindness and generosity.

For over 20 years, Eduardo dedicated his professional life to Carol Cable as a wire inspector, where he was respected and valued by his colleagues. His work ethic and commitment to quality were evident in all he did.

Eduardo's passion for life extended beyond his work. Having lived in East Providence for over 56 years since his arrival from Sao Miguel, he became a well-known figure in his community. He was an avid sports enthusiast, with a particular love for soccer and Sporting F.C. His interests also included grilling, tending to his garden, and painting houses. Above all, he treasured the moments spent with his beloved wife Adelina, whether working side by side in the yard or simply enjoying each other's company.

Those who knew Eduardo will remember him as a loving, selfless, and gentle soul. His kindness radiated through his actions, and his gentle demeanor brought comfort to those around him. Eduardo's ability to put others before himself was a quality that endeared him to many.

Eduardo's life was a reflection of the values he held dear: love, family, and a dedication to the welfare of others. His memory will be cherished and kept alive by the many lives he touched.
