RIVERSIDE – Gerard Paul “Jerry” DiLucchio, 70, a resident of Riverside and lifelong townie of East Providence, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 24, 2025, at home.
Born in East Providence on April 3, 1955, he was the loving son of the late Gerardo and Enice (Manfredi) DiLucchio.
Jerry was a graduate of La Salle Academy and Providence College, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration. He worked for many years as a retail manager for Bradlees and Ocean State Job Lot before starting his own food vending business, supplying snack foods to stores throughout the area. Jerry was a dedicated and hardworking man who took pride in all he did.
In earlier years, he also enjoyed deejaying at local events. He was an avid sports fan, particularly of football and basketball, and loved to travel—visiting 49 of the 50 states, as well as Canada and Europe. A history buff and weather enthusiast, Jerry had a curious mind and a deep appreciation for learning.
He forged many lifelong friendships over the years, but the most important part of his life was his “boys.” His sons were his greatest joy, and his favorite times were those spent in their company.
He is survived by his devoted sons, Erik M. DiLucchio and his partner, Monica Dmuchowski, of Naugatuck, CT, and Austin G. DiLucchio and his partner, Taylor Lemoine, of Dudley, MA; his “step-granddaughter,” Sofia Dmuchowski of Naugatuck, CT; his former wife and mother of his sons, Gail Anderson of Douglas, MA; and his nephew and niece, Stephen and Debbie DeGregorio. He was the brother of the late Linda DeGregorio.
His funeral, to which relatives and friends are most kindly invited, will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. from the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 346 Waterman Avenue, East Providence. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 550 Wampanoag Trail, Riverside.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
