Hilda Ruth (Williams) DeBritto

Hilda went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Evergreen Health and Rehabilitation Center after what seemed a long bout with health associated issues.

She was a lifelong resident of Rhode Island, living most of that time in Providence. She worked at

Rolo Manufacturing Co. for many years before retiring. 

Hilda was the most pleasant person that one could meet, full of vitality, positivity, and lots of faith. To know her was to love her.

She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph DeBritto, Sr. and in that union were born seven children: Joan Correia of Providence, Joyce Ajala of Kissimmee, Florida, Jean (DeBritto) Harrell, North Providence, Charles DeBritto of West Warwick, Michael DeBritto of Providence.  She leaves 15 Grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews among many of relatives.

Hilda had two Sons preceded her in death: Joseph DeBritto Jr., and Jeffrey DeBritto.

Hilda’s funeral service will be held on Saturday February 17, 2024 at 11AM in the  Rebello Funeral Home,901 Broadway, East Providence, followed with a burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Providence, RI.  Visitation will be from 10:00AM -11:00AM at Rebello Funeral Home.
