Lorraine Elizabeth (DeCosta) Davis

Lorraine Elizabeth Davis (DeCosta),89 of East Providence, peacefully passed away on Friday April 26,2024, surrounded by her loved ones after a brief illness.

Lorraine was born in East Providence on July 17th,1934, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Rogers) DeCosta. She had a successful career as an accountant for Marshall Contractors. Lorraine was passionate about her family, and loved nothing more than bringing them together, to celebrate a holiday, milestone, or an accomplishment.

She was also an avid reader and enjoyed cooking in her free time.

Lorraine was predeceased by Margie Greaves and Robert DeCosta. She is survived by her siblings, Jean DeCosta, Mary Storsteen, Joseph DeCosta and Richard DeCosta. She was the mother of Jeffrey Davis and Lisa (James) Dias, the grandmother of Jennifer (Justin)Otero, Kharah(Ronnie)Blanchard, Kylee-Rae (Samuel) Borgueta, Nick Dias, Sklyer Davis, and Jaz Davis and the great grandmother of Matthew Otero, Ryker Otero, Beau Borgueta, Maevie Borgueta and Silas Bourgeta.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a prayer service in the Chapel of Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 550 Wampanoag Trail East Providence, on Wednesday May 8,2024 at 10:30am.
