Maria (Adolfo) Botelho

CUMBERLAND - Maria Botelho, 82, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Hope Hospice. Born on July 20, 1943, she was the devoted wife of the late Luis Botelho.

Maria is survived by her daughter, Marie Botelho of Cumberland, and her son, Luis Botelho of Portugal. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her joy and pride.

Maria dedicated over 40 years of service to Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence, where she was known for her hard work, compassion, and unwavering dependability.

Family was the heart of Maria’s world. She found her greatest happiness in spending time with loved ones sharing meals, stories, laughter, and love. Maria also held her faith close and found comfort in prayer throughout her life. She was a longtime member of St. Patrick Church in Providence.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff at HopeHospice for the exceptional care, kindness, and compassion shown to Maria and her loved ones during her final days.

Her warm smile, gentle humor, and loving spirit will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.

Per Maria's wishes, her Mass of Christian Burial and her interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Riverside, will be held privately.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, East Providence.
