She found a long-term home in East Providence in 1979, where she became a respected and active member of her community. For over 17 years, Connie dedicated herself to her work in the Housekeeping Services Department and Laundry Department at Rhode Island Hospital before retiring in 1990. Her work ethic and commitment to service were admired by all who knew her.
A parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Connie's involvement in church activities reflected her unwavering faith and her desire to serve others. Her commitment to her faith was evident in the way she lived her life and the example she set for those around her.
