EAST PROVIDENCE – Norelle Lynn Gomes, 38, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. Born in Providence, RI, on September 10, 1986, she was the cherished daughter of Robin M. (Gomes) Holley and her husband, Tony, of Warwick.
Norelle was a lifelong resident of East Providence and a proud 2004 graduate of East Providence High School, where she excelled in track and earned the Stringfellow Award during her freshman year. Throughout her life, she worked in various roles, including at the CVS call center and as a counselor for House of Hope, a Rhode Island program dedicated to assisting the homeless and those in need.
She was passionate about music, dancing, and her beloved Hello Kitty collection, but her greatest joy came from her three beautiful children. Norelle adored being their mother and treasured every moment spent with them.
In addition to her mother and stepfather, Robin and Tony, she is survived by her children, Izayah Fernandes, Naliah Loureiro, and Maison Loureiro, all of East Providence; her brothers, Austin Holley of Warwick and Darian Wallace of East Providence; and many extended family members.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visitation on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at Rebello Funeral Home, 901 Broadway, East Providence. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM in the funeral home, officiated by the Reverend Joseph Escobar, pastor of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Providence. Interment will be private at the family’s convenience.
