Coventry - Pearl S. Cabral, a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully at Kent Hospital in Warwick, RI, on Thursday ,May 29, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on May 6, 1953, in Providence, RI, Pearl was the beloved daughter of the late Carlino "Carl" S. and Hilda (Francis) Cabral. Her gentle spirit and kind heart touched the lives of all who knew her.
Pearl grew up in Providence, where she was known for her loving nature and her innate ability to brighten the lives of those around her. For the last 22 years she was a resident of Riverview Nursing home in Coventry, forming lasting friendships. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Church.
Pearl's passion for life was paralleled by her dedication to her family. She is survived by her brother, Carl S. Cabral and his wife Joanna of Riverside; her brother, Dennis Cabral; and her sister, Lillian Horan and her husband Bruce of West Warwick. Pearl also leaves behind many adoring nieces and nephews, who will fondly remember her for her gentle guidance and unconditional love.
Throughout her life, Pearl found joy in the simple pleasures. She had a love for watching television, flipping through the pages of magazines, and the delight of playing with dolls. Her hobbies were a reflection of her personality: unassuming, content, and always finding happiness in the world around her.
Pearl was marked by her kind demeanor and the loving relationships she built with ,family and friends.
To have known Pearl was to know a person who exemplified love and kindness in every action. Her gentle approach to life, her unwavering kindness, and her loving nature will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her. Pearl's memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were graced by her presence.
As we say goodbye to Pearl S. Cabral, we celebrate a life well-lived and cherish the memories she has left behind. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those who knew her, and her memory will be a guiding light for generations to come. Rest in peace, dear Pearl, and thank you for the warmth and joy you brought into our lives.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 11:00am in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 21 Traverse Street, Providence. Burial will follow. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Wednesday MORNING in the Church from 10:00am -11:00am.
Burial will follow at 1:00pm in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter, RI
