Seekonk-Richard D. Anderman passed away peacefully on December 6, 2024, at his home
in Seekonk, Massachusetts, being loved and cared for, by his grandson Zachary, son-in-law Jeffrey, K-9 Sade and his daughter Kelly.
Born on May 26, 1938, in Hinckley, Minnesota. Richard was a man of Intelligence and adventure,
Whose life’s journey was marked by his dedication to his work, family and passions.
Richard’s professional life defined by his more than 30 years of service as an engineer with the 3M
Company. Richard was a proud marine veteran having served his country in both the United States Navy and as a Jet Mechanic in the US Marine Corps. His dedication to his nation was a testament
To his character and his sense of duty. Those who knew Richard will remember him as an Intelligent
Individual who approached life with a sense of curiosity and zest.
The son of the late Carl F. and Florence (Wicker) Anderman, beloved brother to John Anderman and wife Diane, sister Deb Bruner and late husband Bob. He was preceded in passing by his late son Todd R. Anderman.
Richard’s spirit will be cherished by his son Shane and his daughter Kim (Mike) and their K-9 Tully, his nephews and nieces, his grandsons, Zachary and Chad (Kim) as well as great granddaughter Carly,
The Anderman family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to all who have been a part of Richards life. His presence will be deeply missed by all his family and friends, but his stories of his adventures, his wisdom and his laughter will continue to inspire and guide us. Richards journey on earth has ended but his story is far from over as we celebrate his life.
We are reminded to embrace each day with the same passion and determination that he did.
