Sharon Dubois Obituary

East Providence - Sharon Helen Dubois, a beacon of kindness and creativity, passed away peacefully at her home in East Providence on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on May 16, 1950, in Providence, Sharon was the cherished daughter of the late Norman and Mary (Goldence) Dubois. Her warmth and loving nature were the hallmarks of her existence, touching the lives of all who knew her.

Sharon, known affectionately as Sharon to her friends and family, was a lifelong resident of East Providence. Her commitment to her community was unwavering, as seen through her devoted service as an Administrative Clerk at a local medical facility for many years. Her work was not just a job but a way to contribute meaningfully to the wellbeing of those around her.

Family was the cornerstone of Sharon's life. She was a loving sister to Norman Dubois, Jr. and his wife Gail of East Providence, and an aunt to her nieces, Melissa Kroll of Warwick and Jennifer Bailey of Burrillville. Sharon embraced the role of great aunt with joy and enthusiasm, cherishing her great-nieces and nephews Ashley, Amanda, and Alexandra Quinn; Jacob, and Joseph Kroll; as well as Briella, Izaac, and Livi Bailey. Her presence in their lives was a source of constant love and inspiration.

Her faith was an integral part of her life, and as a parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Church, she found strength and solace. Sharon's interests extended beyond her professional and family life into the heart of her community. She was a valued volunteer at the Fuller Library, where she shared her passion for sewing by teaching others. Her selflessness and willingness to lend her talents to those eager to learn were a testament to her generous spirit.

A woman of many passions, Sharon found joy in the pages of a good book and the intricate details of her sewing projects. Her creativity was not merely a hobby but a way of connecting with others, creating lasting memories and tangible tokens of her love and care.

Words fall short of capturing the essence of Sharon's kind, creative, and loving nature. She was a guiding light, a source of comfort, and a creative soul whose legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her.

Sharon Helen Dubois's life was a tapestry woven with love, service, and the joy of simple pleasures. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the grace she brought into this world. As we bid farewell to Sharon, we celebrate the remarkable woman she was and the countless ways she enriched our lives. Her spirit will continue to guide us, just as the memories we hold dear will continue to bring us solace and joy.
