Stefania B. (Gunnlaugsdottir) Lima

Seekonk- Stefania B (Gunnlaugsdottir) Lima, 90, of Seekonk, passed away on Sunday June 18,2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford.

She was the wife of the late Francis Xavier Lima.

Stefania was born in Reykjavik, Iceland, the daughter of the late Gunnlaug and Olina Jonsdottir.

She worked as a waitress for many years at the former Harborside Restaurant in East Greenwich.

Stefania enjoyed reading, going to the beach, she was very fitness conscious, and she really looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Lima is survived by her children, Stephen M. Lima of Rehoboth, MA., Christopher F. Lima of Seekonk, MA., Wendy A. Martins of Uncasville, Ct.

She was the grandmother of Joshua, Bethany, Stefanie, Derek, Stephen.

Mrs. Lima was the great grandmother of Jett Martins, and Isabelle Tosetti.

Stefania was the sister of Olafur Gunnlaugsson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023, at 10:00am in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 984 Taunton Avenue, Seekonk, MA.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
